Issaac ‘Ike’ F. Wartluft, 90, GSM Roofing worker, enjoyed movies, bowling, avid NASCAR fan

Issaac “ Ike” F. Wartluft, 90, of Ephrata, passed away Sunday, March 26, 2017, at Conestoga View.

He was born in Lebanon County to the late Issaac F. and Katie (Krepp) Wartluft, and was the husband of Norma (Hertzog) Wartluft.

He was a member of New Covenant Church of God. Issaac was a roofer for GSM Roofing. He enjoyed going to the movies, bowling, watching wrestling and was an avid NASCAR fan.

In addition to his wife, Issaac is survived by three sons: Dennis, husband of Donna (Lausch) Wartluft, of Ephrata; David Wartluft of Ephrata; Douglas Wartluft of Ephrata; a stepson: Arthur, husband of Deanna (Hamby) Reider, of Ephrata; a stepdaughter: Ruth Muckel of Ephrata; two grandchildren: Josette Wartluft, Franklin Wartluft; six step-grandchildren: Marlene Muckel, Katie Muckel, Tiffany Burkholder, Austin Reider, Paul Reider and Devin Reider.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife: Violet (Wenrich) Wartluft; and a stepson: Paul Reider.

A viewing will be held on Friday, March 31, from 1 to 2 p.m., at the Stradling Funeral Home, 201 Church Ave., Ephrata followed by funeral services at 2 p.m., with Pastor Leonard Stine officiating. Interment will take place in the Voganville Union Cemetery.
