James D. Hauck, 70, High Steel welder, OMPH member, loved his family deeply

James D. Hauck, 70, of Ephrata, passed away on Monday, March 19, 2018, at WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital.

He was born in Ephrata to the late Warren D. and Susana (Davidson) Hauck, and was the husband of the late Colleen Ann Hauck, who passed away in 1994.

He was a member of Our Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. James was a welder for High Steel. He enjoyed antique cars and loved his family deeply.

James is survived by a son: Cory D., husband of Angie M. Hauck of Ephrata; a daughter: Amber M. Hauck, of Ephrata; two grandchildren: Austin and Rory; a brother: Lee A. Hauck; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife and parents, He was preceded in death by a sister: Maxine Gehman.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 31, from 9:30 to 11 a.m., at the Stradling Funeral Home, 201 Church Ave., Ephrata, followed by a graveside service at Cedar Hill Cemetery, 531 N. State St., Ephrata.

    My heart felt condolences to the family…you all were always in his conversations….I’m so glad jim and I reconnected the past couple of years..we reminisced about “the akron group “and our class of “65”. Den “mugs” Sweigart
