Jeffrey Montgomery, 42, worked for Clark Mechanical

Jeffrey John Montgomery, 42, of Ephrata, passed away Monday, April 23, 2012 at Jeanes Hospital, Philadelphia.

He was born in Cambria County to James and Anne (Mangold) Montgomery of Ephrata.

Jeffrey graduated from Northern Cambria High School and York Technical Institute. He worked for Clark Mechanical, Smoketown. He was a member of Our Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Ephrata, an avid golfer, diehard Steelers and Penguins Fan.

In addition to his parents, Jeffrey is survived by a sister: Jill A., wife of Rick Floyd, of North Beach, Md.; and two nephews: Cody and Tyler.

A mass of Christian burial was held on April 30 at the St. Benedict’s Catholic Church, Carrolltown, Cambria County. Final Commendation and Farewell took place in the St. Benedict’s Catholic Cemetery.

Memorial contributions in Jeffrey’s memory may be made to Temple University Bone Marrow Transplant Program, 7604 Central Ave., Friends Hall Lower Level, Philadelphia, PA 19111.
