Larry L. ‘Butch’ Weaver, 71, Ephrata, Sauder’s Eggs retiree, Reinholds VFW member, Philly fan

Larry L. “Butch” Weaver, 71, of Ephrata, passed away Monday, Aug. 3, 2015, at his residence.

He was born in New Holland to the late Isaac B. and Anna M. (Zoll) Weaver.

Larry was a member at Mellinger’s Lutheran Church, Schoeneck. He worked as a production supervisor at Sauder’s Eggs from 1979 until his retirement in 2011. Larry was a hardworking, loving and supportive father and grandfather. He loved the outdoors, hunting, old cars, landscaping, and pitching quoits. He was also a passionate Phillies and Eagles fan and a longtime member of the Reinholds VFW Post 6759.

He is survived by a son: Jason T., husband of Andrea P. Weaver, of Lancaster; a daughter: Tracey L., wife of David M. Burkholder, of Pottstown; seven grandchildren: Asa, Joshua, Miranda, Eva, Brooke, Julia, and Luka; a sister: Shirley, wife of Clair High, of Stevens; three brothers: Robert, husband of Linda Weaver, of East Earl; Kenneth, husband of Esther Weaver, of Akron; Jay, husband of Linda Weaver, of Denver; numerous loving nieces and nephews; and a devoted companion: Lynda Miller of Stevens.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister: June Weaver.

Services were held Aug. 6 at Mellinger’s Lutheran Church, Stevens, with Pastor Timothy Craven officiating. Interment took place in the Cedar Hill Cemetery.
