Laura Marie Zimmerman, 79, homemaker, mother of five, attended Meadow Valley Mennonite

Laura Marie Zimmerman, 79, of Denver, formerly of Lititz, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2016, at Cocalico Christian Home.

She was born in East Earl to the late Reuben W. and Lena M. (Martin) Martin, and was the wife of the late Paul S. Zimmerman.

Laura was a member of Meadow Valley Mennonite Church, Weaverland Conference. She was a homemaker.

Laura is survived by four children: Glenn M., husband of Linda (Rutt) Zimmerman, of Lititz; Marlin M., husband of Rachel (Martin) Zimmerman, of Phelps, N.Y.; Elaine M., wife of Nevin R. Horning, of Denver; Paul S. Jr., husband of Janice (Zimmerman) Zimmerman, of Lititz; 23 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two sisters: Ella Mae, wife of the late Paul Martin, of Lewisburg; and Lydia, wife of Levi Martin, of Mifflinburg.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son: Lowell M. Zimmerman; a brother: Edwin M. Martin; and a sister: Catherine Reiff.

Services were held Dec. 6 at Meadow Valley Mennonite Church, Ephrata, with Bishop Lester B. Martin officiating. Interment took place in the adjoining church cemetery. Kindly omit flowers.
