Leonard Roberts, 62, nuclear energy technician and advisor, enjoyed sailing, cycling

Leonard Roberts, 62, Adamstown, died peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones, on June 18, 2016.

Born in Northville, Mich., a son of the late Clarence F. and Edna M. (Heymes) Roberts, he was the husband of Sherill A. (Sinz) Roberts for 42 years.

Len was a specialty technician and advisor in the nuclear energy industry. He was a member of Lodge No. 62, Reading, Free & Accepted Masons, and Valley of Reading Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite. Traveling, riding motorcycles, and sailing were some of Len’s passions.

Also surviving is a daughter: Allyson Lynann Boyer, partner of Carl Liptak, Womelsdorf; son: Leonard Roberts Jr., Reading; granddaughters: Kaylee, Elizabeth, Avina, and Savannah; sisters: Joy Jones and Irene Walker; and brothers: Neal and Frank Roberts.

A sister, Betty, predeceased him.

The viewing will be Saturday, June 25, from noon to 2 p.m., at Good Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, Reamstown, with Masonic service at 2 p.m., followed by a time of sharing.
