Louis J. “Smiley” Leone, 84, of Ephrata, passed away surrounded by his loving family in Lebanon, on Saturday, Oct. 7, 2017, at the Lebanon VA Medical Center.

Louis was born on Oct. 17, 1932, in Brooklyn, N.Y. to Louis Leone and Mildred (Esposito) Leone. Preceding Louis in death were his parents; and one brother: Richard.

Surviving Louis are his wife: Rosemarie (Krupa) Leone of Ephrata; three children: Anthony L. Leone of Ephrata; Gina L., wife of Thomas Miale, of Mountain Top; Juliet P. Leone of Reading; and three grandsons: Nicholas Miale, Dylan Miale, and Jordan Miale.
