Louise I. Laudeman, 100, Ephrata Manor resident, member of Minersville UMC

Louise I. Laudeman, 100, formerly of Minersville, passed away Friday, Jan. 12, 2018, peacefully, with her husband Earl at her side, at Ephrata Manor, Ephrata.

Louise was born in Pottsville on Nov. 8, 1917, a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Kear. She was the wife of Earl F. Laudeman.

She was a member of Minersville United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother: Edward Kear; and a granddaughter: Tanya Mazakas.

Louise is survived by her husband: Earl; a daughter: Mary L., widow of Paul Mazakas, of Ephrata; grandson: Randy Mazekas and companion Julie B. Brown of Lancaster; a granddaughter: Jackie B., wife of Steven B. Grater, of Elizabethtown; great-grandchildren: Axel and Miles Grater.

Services were held Jan. 16 at Mahal-Ritzel Funeral Home, Minersville.
