Mae E. Weaver, 91, worked at Dutch Maid outlet, mission enthusiast at Weaverland

Mae E. Weaver, 91, of Ephrata, died Thursday, June 22, 2017 at Fairmount Homes.
Born in Earl Township, she was the daughter of the late Clayton W. and Mary E. (Hershey) Weaver.
Mae had been a store clerk at the former Dutch Maid Outlet Store, Ephrata, retiring in 1988. She then worked part-time as a geriatric aide at Landis Homes.
She was a member of Weaverland Mennonite Church and was keenly interested in missions.
Surviving is a brother: Lloyd W. Weaver, husband of Vesta Gehr, of Ephrata; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by five siblings: Esther Hurst, Elva Bowman, Elsie Witmer, Hershey D. Weaver, and Ivan Weaver.
Her funeral was held June 26 at Weaverland Mennonite Church, with C. Kenneth Martin and Leon Hurst officiating. Interment was in the adjoining church cemetery.
