Mary Ann DeWitt, 69, automotive production worker, mother of three, NASCAR fan

Mary Ann DeWitt, 69, of Denver, formerly of Andreas, passed away Dec. 4, 2016, at Manor Care Nursing Home in Sinking Spring.

Mary Ann was born in Philadelphia to the late Joseph Collins and the late Mary T. (Balitski) Collins, on Jan. 9, 1947.

She completed her high school education and went to work as a production worker in an automotive manufacturing plant. Mary Ann enjoyed gardening, and she was an avid and loyal fan of NASCAR racing.

Mary Ann is preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers: Joseph Collins and Edward Collins.

Surviving Mary Ann are a daughter: Sandra, wife of Michael Yacovelli, of Lancaster; a son: Darrin DeWitt, husband of Diana, of River Vale, N.J.; and a daughter: Sarah, wife of Vito Geronimo, of Tamaqua. Also, surviving are six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and her brother: Thomas Collins, husband of Deborah A., of Boiling Spring, S.C.

The funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
