Mary ‘Holly’ Loose, 69, former Bowmansville resident, artisan, enjoyed crafts and dogs

Mary “Holly” Loose, 69, a resident of the Silver Stream Center, Spring House, formerly of Bowmansville, died Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2018 at Abington Hospital-Jefferson Health in Abington.

Born in Ephrata, she was the daughter of Betty L. Zug Good of Denver, and the late Warren R. Good.

Holly attended Kutztown University and enjoyed her work as an artist. She enjoyed crafts and dogs.

Surviving besides her mother are two sisters: Rita, wife of Stanley Brooks of Coatesville; and Tracey wife of Gary Bowman of Lancaster; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother: William Terry Good.

Services were held Aug. 18 at the Eckenroth Funeral Home, Terre Hill, with Rev. Brad Haws officiating. Interment was in the Center Union Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Holly’s memory may be made to the Brain & Behavior Research Foundation, 747 Third Avenue, 33rd Floor, New York, NY 10017.
