Mildred E. (Wenger) Garman, 83, of Ephrata, passed away at Lancashire Hall Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2016.

She was born in White Horse, daughter of the late Helen G. Wenger.

She was a member of Bethany Grace Fellowship Church, Terre Hill. In the past she was a Sunday School teacher at Refton Brethren In Christ Church. She had worked for Servomation Refreshments Inc. She loved feeding and watching birds, reading, word-search puzzles, and the Phillies.

Surviving are three children: D. Kenneth, husband of Shirleen Graver Garman, of Leighton; Barbara A., wife of Harry D. Landis, of Quarryville; Shirley M., wife of Marlin Z. Redcay, of Ephrata; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

A private funeral service will take place at the Shivery Funeral Home, Paradise, with interment in the Hershey Mennonite Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Optum Palliative and Hospice Care, 700 American Ave., Suite 206, King of Prussia, PA 19406.
