Nancy C. Oswald, 85, architectural office manager, birdwatcher, enjoyed time with family

Nancy C. Oswald, 85, of New Holland, passed away on Friday, Nov. 3, 2017, at Maple Farm.

She was born in Berwick to the late John and Mary (Beaver) Naus, and was the wife of the late Kenneth J. Oswald, who passed away in 2007.

Nancy was a member of Reformed Presbyterian Church of Ephrata. She was an office manager at the architectural firm of Anderson Brown Higley & Funk, before retiring in 1992. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. She also enjoyed gardening and birdwatching.

Nancy is survived by a son: Kevin J., husband of Betsy Oswald of Milton; a daughter: Karen J., wife of Donn Youndt of Ephrata; five grandchildren: Ashley, wife of Curtis Yeager; Benjamin Oswald; Sarah Youndt; Nathaniel, husband of Meridien Youndt; and Julianna Youndt.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers; Wayne and Jack Naus; and a sister: Doris Chapin.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, Nov. 11, from 10 to 11 a.m., at the Reformed Presbyterian Church, 21 E. Locust St., Ephrata, followed by funeral services at 11 a.m., with Pastor Tom Nicholas officiating. Interment will be at Old Zion German Reformed Church Cemetery.
