Nancy J. Weaver, 86, supervisor at Meke, mother of five, liked reading and word puzzles

Nancy J. Weaver, 86, of Ephrata, passed away at Hospice & Community Care in Mt. Joy on Thursday, Nov. 1, 2018.
Her husband, the late Clayton R. “Cap” Weaver, passed away June 9, 2009.
Nancy is survived by three daughters: Mary, wife of the late Robert Jeffries of Ephrata; Sue, wife of Jeffery Wenrich of Ephrata; and Tracie Smith of Honey Brook; a son: Robert Frankfort, husband of Lisa, of Lebanon; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; a sister: Gerrie Brown of Ephrata; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, Nancy was preceded in death by a daughter: Brenda Hanna; her parents: Wallace J. and Florence (Longenecker) Reber; three sisters: Betty, Violet, and Catherine; and four brothers: Richard, Donald, Charles, and Robert.
Nancy was born in Ephrata and was a lifetime resident. She worked as a finishing department supervisor at Meke, Inc. of New Holland, for 18 years, and before that was employed at the former Atlas and Hestico garment manufacturers.
She was a member of the AMVETS Post 19 in Lancaster and the Cloister Post 429 American Legion. Nancy enjoyed reading and word puzzles.
Services were held Nov. 6 at Gravenor Home For Funerals, Ephrata, with the Rev. Stephen Hollinger officiating. Interment followed at Conestoga Memorial Park, Lancaster.
