Nancy L. Hedges, 71, Ephrata, worked at Bulova Tech, enjoyed traveling and family gatherings

Nancy L. Hedges, 71, of Ephrata, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2014, at her residence.
Born in Lebanon, she was the daughter of the late Clarence C. Bickelman. She was raised by her beloved grandmother, Helen “Mom” Ensminger.
Nancy retired as an assembler from Bulova Tech. She was a member of Bethany Presbyterian Church. Nancy loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling and her family gatherings.
Surviving are four sons: Randall Hedges, of Hesston; William Hedges Jr., husband of Lisa Oster, of Manheim; Johnny Hedges; and Richard Hedges, husband of Jennifer, all of Lancaster; two daughters: Kelly Harris and Kimbi Hedges, both of Lancaster; 15 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; three sisters: Marie George, wife of Rodger, of Virginia; Shirley Karpew, of Womelsdorf; and Dixie Petry, of Newmanstown.
She was preceded in death by two brothers: William Bickelman and Harry Greenawalt.
Nancy’s Life Celebration Funeral Service was held Nov. 1 at Bethany Presbyterian Church, Lancaster, with Rev. John Bowe and Rev. Ken Holmes officiating. Interment was in Millersville Mennonite Cemetery.
