Paul B. Nauman Jr., 74, High Industries analyst, softball player, coach, liked APBA, westerns

Paul B. “Alf” Nauman Jr., 74, of Brownstown, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 19, 2018, at Penn State Hershey Medical Center.

He was born in Carlisle to the late Paul B. and Mabel (Geib) Nauman, and was the husband of Linda D. (Pott) Nauman, with whom he shared 54 years of marriage.

Paul was a member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church, Brownstown. He had worked as a systems analyst for High Industries. He was a member of the West Earl Lions Club, played softball at Zinn’s in an over-35 league, coached the Brownstown Green Giants girls softball team, was an avid Pirates and Steelers fan, liked reading, walking the dog Toby, watching westerns on Saturday mornings, APBA baseball, loved to travel, especially loved his grandchildren and attending their events.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children: Wayne Charles, husband of Julie Nauman; Diane Lynn Arment; Denise Elaine, wife of Jeff Metz; four grandchildren: Paige, Haley and Justin Nauman; and Jeffrey “Jr.” Metz; a sister: Jo Ann Collins; a brother-in-law: Bruce, wife of Melissa Pott; a sister-in-law: Janice, wife of Brian Brubaker.

Services were held Aug. 25 at Emmanuel United Methodist Church, Brownstown. The family requested that attendees wear Pittsburgh sports attire or black and gold to the service. Interment was private.
