Paul C. Snavely, 59, Ephrata, self-employed, father of five, loved Harleys

Paul C. Snavely, 59, of Ephrata, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2016, at his residence.

He was born in Shamokin to the late Catherine (Boslego) Snavely, wife of Jack Snavely Sr.; and was the husband of Virginia “Ginny” (Weist) Snavely, to whom he was married for 17 years.

Paul was self-employed and had a love for Harleys.

In addition to his father and wife, Paul is survived by three sons: Scott Senseman of Harrisburg; Matthew L., husband of Monica Snavely, of Lancaster; Vincent Snavely of Ephrata; five grandchildren: Sydney Senseman, Zandra Snavely, Sara Snavely, Matthew I. Snavely, Evelyn Senseman; three siblings: Anita, wife of Craig Wickenheiser, of Harrisburg; John, husband of Gretchen Snavely, of Harrisburg; Jack, husband of Dana Snavely, of Harrisburg.

He was preceded in death by two sons: Christopher Snavely; and an infant son, Frankie Snavely.

Services were held Feb. 2 at Stradling Funeral Home, Ephrata, with the Rev. Tim Craven officiating. Interment took place in the Swamp Lutheran Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Paul’s name can be made to the American Diabetes Association, 3544 N. Progress Ave., Suite 202, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
