Paul Leisey, 47, welder

Paul Leisey Jr., 47, of Denver, passed away Friday, Nov. 11, 2011 in West Cocalico Township.

He was born in Ephrata to the late Paul Leisey and Elva June (Getz) Leisey, of Stevens.

Paul had been a member of Mellinger’s Lutheran Church, Stevens. He was also a member of the Northern Lancaster Sportsman’s Club. Paul enjoyed the outdoors and riding motorcycle. A 1982 Cocalico High School graduate, Paul worked as a welder for Crimson Fire Aerials, Akron, for the last two months. He previously worked at Armstrong World Industries.

In addition to his mother, Paul is survived by a daughter: Courtney A. Leisey, of Reinholds; a brother: John, husband of Wendy (Fritz) Leisey, of Denver; two sisters: Susie Gehman, of Reinholds; and Deb, wife of Jerry Zerbe, of Stevens; several nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held on Nov. 16 at 7:30 p.m. at the Roseboro Stradling Funeral and Cremation Services Inc., 533 Walnut Street, Denver, followed by funeral services at 7:30 p.m. A private interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
