Paul R. Pfautz, 90, Ephrata, WWII Army vet, retired from Federal-Mogul

Paul R. Pfautz, 90, of Ephrata, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2015, at his residence.

He was born in Mastersonville to the late William and Ella (Randall) Pfautz and was the husband of Marian (Schmell) Pfautz.

Paul worked for Federal-Mogul for 36 years until his retirement in 1987. He served in the US Army during WWII in the 1st Cavalry Division.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son: Robert Pfautz of Arkansas.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.

A viewing will be held Saturday, Jan. 17, 2015, from 12 to 1 p.m., at the Stradling Funeral Home, 201 Church Ave., Ephrata, followed by his funeral service at 1 p.m., with Pastor George Frantz officiating. Interment will take place in the Willow Street Mennonite Cemetery.
