Pauline E. Hornberger, 91, formerly of Denver, mother of seven, worked for F.W. Woolworth

Pauline E. Hornberger, 91, of Lebanon, formerly of Denver, passed away Thursday, Jan. 21, 2016, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon.

She was born in Lancaster County, and was the wife of the late Lester H. Hornberger who died in 2004.

She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Denver. She worshipped at the Cedar Haven Chapel, and she enjoyed crocheting and reading. In the early years Pauline worked for F.W. Woolworth Co.

Pauline is survived by three children: Barry L. Shupp of Denver; Rick D., husband of Linda (Rains) Shupp, of Lancaster; and Terri M., wife of Dave Lorah, of Manheim; five grandchildren: six step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a brother: Richard Sweigart.

She was preceded in death by four children: Craig and Kevin Shupp; Cindy G., wife of Larry Lefever; and Kathy Earhart; and several brothers and sisters.

A graveside service was held Feb. 1 at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, with Chaplain Allen Helwig officiating.
