Pauline M. ‘Polly’ Sweigart, 88, Denver H.S. grad, Hemmerich worker, enjoyed walking, her dogs

Pauline M. “Polly” Sweigart, 88, formerly of Denver, died Sunday, May 7, 2017, at Long Community at Highland, Lancaster.

Born in East Cocalico Township, a daughter of the late Raymond and Bertha (Longenecker) Artz, her husband, Ralph H. Sweigart, died in 1993.

She was a 1947 Denver High School graduate and a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Denver. She enjoyed walking and loved her dogs. Polly worked for Hemmerich Industries, Denver.

Surviving is a daughter: Bonita, wife of John Henry, Murrells Inlet, S.C.; grandchildren: Tina Rineer and Corey Eberly; and great-grandchildren: Bryce and Brent Eberly; and Cole Rineer.

A sister, Phoebe Artz, also predeceased her.

Private inurnment will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Sinking Spring.
