Pastor Richard B. Martin, 87, of Monroeton, was called home to his Lord and Savior on Monday, Nov. 13, 2017.

Son of the late Noah and Anna (Bowman) Martin, he was born June 23, 1930, in Millway. He was married to the late Marian S. (Good) Martin. They resided in Reinholds and Ephrata until 1966, when they moved to Bradford County.

Later, Richard was ordained and served as a church pastor for 30 years. He also was self-employed and owned/operated Martin’s Equipment and Supply Co. in West Franklin, PA.

Surviving are his children: Donald (Debra) Martin of Mainsburg; Lois (James) Bowman of Lancaster; Wilmer (Lorraine) Martin of Monroeton; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; three brothers: Harry (Mary Jane) Martin of Schaefferstown; Raymond (Esther) Martin of Farmersville; and James (Bonnie) Martin of Annville.

Services were Nov. 19 at North Street Community Church, Canton. Pastors Darren Peachy and Ben Hess officiated. Burial will be in Beech Flats Cemetery at the family’s convenience.
