Robert C. Frymyer, 85, Ephrata, Army vet, Union Camp foreman, Reinholds VFW member

Robert C. Frymyer, 85, of Ephrata, passed away Saturday, July 25, 2015, at home.

He was born in Paradise to the late Watson E. and Edna (Shearer) Frymyer; and was the husband of the late Kathleen (Patterson) Frymyer, who passed in 1999.

He was a lifetime member of the Reinholds VFW and a member of the AMVETS. He enjoyed going to his cabin and hunting, four-wheeling, and spending time with his family and grandchildren. Robert was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He worked as a printer foreman for the former Union Camp Co. of Lancaster.

Robert is survived by four children: Diane, wife of Ted Stehman, of Arnot; Deborah, wife of Theodore Croll, of Doylestown; Terry Frymyer of Ephrata; Melanie, wife of Mel Sauder, of Akron; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a sister: Dot Victorello of Lititz.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by two brothers: Watson and Billy Frymyer; and four sisters: Arlene Erb, and Gladys Riley, Mary Ryner, and Janet Hoover.

A viewing will be held Sunday, Aug. 9, from 6 to 8 p.m.; and on Monday, Aug. 10, from 9 to 10 a.m. at Stradling Funeral Home, 201 Church Ave., Ephrata, where funeral services will follow at 10 a.m., with Pastor Rob Eshleman officiating. Interment will take place in the Memory Gardens Memorial Cemetery; military honors will be accorded.
