Ronald H. Reimer, 70, farmer, limo chauffeur, enjoyed traveling, flying a small plane

Ronald H. Reimer, 70, of Akron, passed into the arms of Jesus Thursday, June 23, 2016, at his residence.
He was born in Steinbach, Manitoba, Canada, to the late Henry J. and Margaret (Penner) Reimer, and was the husband of Anna (Wenger) Reimer, with whom he shared 26 years of marriage.
Ron attended James Street Mennonite Church, Lancaster. He worked with his brothers as a partner in a farm and he also was a limousine chauffeur. Ron was a member of the Pennsylvania Auctioneer Association and the Lancaster County Association of Realtors. He enjoyed conversations with his limo clients, traveling to different countries, especially visiting his family in Canada, trains and flying a small plane.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two brothers: Allen, husband of Marina Reimer; Mervin, husband of Velma Reimer; two sisters: Darlene, wife of Dale Remple; and Carol, wife of Wally Koop.
He was preceded in death by siblings: Milton and Leona.
A memorial service was held June 28 at Ephrata Church of the Brethren, with Pastor Stan Shantz and Chaplain Nilda Roman officiating. Interment was in the Groffdale Mennonite Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Ron’s memory may be made to the Mennonite Central Committee, P.O. Box 500, Akron, PA 17501.
