Ronald Rasmus, 82, USAF vet, Tyson Foods supervisor, enjoyed being outdoors, helping others
Ronald Rasmus, 82, of Mohnton, formerly of Brownstown, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2017 at Ephrata Manor.
He was born in Glen Lyon to the late Joseph and Angeline (Gillis) Rasmus.
Ronald was a supervisor for Weaver/Tyson Foods. He graduated from Huntington Mills High School in 1952 then served in the US Air Force. He was of the Catholic faith. Ronald loved dairy farming and gardening, especially flowers. He enjoyed being outdoors and helping friends and neighbors.
Ronald is survived by close friends: Hector Luciano, David and Joanne Hertzog, and a son: Brian Rasmus.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother: Joseph Rasmus Jr.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Interment will take place in the St. Adalbert’s Cemetery, Glen Lyon.
