Sandra Weaver, 51, Denver, Shady Maple Farm Market clerk

Sandra J. Weaver, 51, of Denver, died Friday, April 27, 2012 at her home after a year and a half battle with pancreatic cancer.

Born in Ephrata, she was the daughter of the late Elam and Beatrice (Fox) Brubaker. She was married 31 years on Sept. 6 to Edwin M. Weaver.

Sandra worked as a clerk at the Shady Maple Farm Market for the past few years. She was a member of Petra Christian Fellowship and enjoyed flower gardening.

Surviving in addition to her husband are a daughter: Melissa Weaver, of Philadelphia; a son, Anthony Weaver of Blue Ball; a sister: Carol, wife of Clair Martin, of Denver; and two brothers: Jay, husband of Cindy Brubaker, of North Carolina; and Jeff Brubaker, of Denver.

Funeral services were held on May 1 at Petra Christian Fellowship, New Holland, with the Rev. Lester Zimmerman and the Rev. Titus Kauffman officiating. Interment was held in the Red Run Mennonite Cemetery.
