Shirley June Andrejev, 78, formerly of Brownstown, passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2014, at Brethren Village.

She was born in Conestoga to the late Robert and Helen (Brooks) Everhart and was the wife of the late Eugene Andrejev who passed away in 2005.

Shirley attended Ebenezer EC Church, Brownstown. She was also a former member of Order of the Eastern Star, Lancaster Chapter and a former member of the West Earl Lioness Club. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and bowling in her early years. She worked as a salesperson for the former Linen Hope Chest, Park City; and Linens Etc. of Lancaster for many years.

Shirley is survived by three sons: Paul, husband of Gayle Van Aulen of Strasburg; Barry Van Aulen of Mount Joy; Bob, husband of Leanne Van Aulen of Lebanon; a daughter: Kathy, wife of David Seifred of Ephrata; two stepsons: Peter, husband of Kris Andrejev of Arlington, Va.; Erik, husband Sherry Andrejev of Downington; six grandchildren; six step grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers: Robert Everhart of Willow Street, Larry Everhart of Conestoga; and a sister: Pat Axe of West Willow Street.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a stepdaughter: Susan Hoffard; a brother: Carl Everhart; and a sister: Barb Ulmer.

Services were held June 27 at Brethren Village Chapel, Lancaster, with Chaplain Mark Tedford and Pastor Christopher Eden officiating. Interment followed in the Boehm’s Cemetery, Willow Street.
