Terrance Esbenshade, 34, Denver, co-owned water system business, loving father

Terrance J. “TJ” Esbenshade, 34, of Denver, passed away Thursday, May 15, 2014, at his residence.

He was born in Ephrata to Jacob and Ethel W. (Martin) Esbenshade and was the husband of Brianne (Burkholder) Esbenshade with whom he shared 10 years of marriage.

Terrance was a member of Petra Christian Fellowship Church. He was a loving father who adored his girls, a loving and supportive husband and best friend. He loved spending time with his family and making memories. He enjoyed four wheeling with the mud flying, snowmobile riding in the powder and on the trails, and hunting if he could drag a big buck in. He loved the outdoors. He was part owner of Esbenshade’s Water Systems, and took pride in his work.

In addition to his wife and parents; he is survived by two daughters: Shelvia Lynn Esbenshade and Sharlotte Rae Esbenshade, both at home; in-laws: Craig and Kari Hulse, Melvin S. Burkholder II, Ken Hawkins; two sisters: Angie, wife of Serge Lehman, Stacey, wife of Ted Simes; a sister-in-law: Jessica, wife of Rob Kautz; a brother-in-law: Craig Jr., husband of Erin Hulse; four nieces and four nephews.

He was preceded in death by infant twin sisters.

Services were held May 18 at Petra Christian Fellowship, New Holland, with Pastor Lester Zimmerman officiating. Interment was in the Petra Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution in TJ’s memory may be made to Petra Crisis Fund, 565 Airport Rd., New Holland, PA 17557.
