Tracy L. Wilson, 50, of Akron, Pennsylvania, passed away Jan. 2, 2015, at the Heart of Lancaster hospital in Lititz.

She was born in Lancaster on June 1, 1964 and was the daughter of Robert Hinkle Sr. and Sharon (Stauffer) McVey.

Tracy graduated from Milton Hershey High School in 1983. She spent many years working as a rental agent with Clover Property Management. Tracy was passionate about her pets. Her miniature collie, Jake was her pride and joy. She loved spending time with her cats, Benny and Sammy. She also loved trips to the beach with her friends. Tracy’s smile and laughter would fill a room with joy. She also enjoyed participating in the Big Brothers Big Sisters Program.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by a brother: Robert Hinkle Jr. of Conestoga; and a sister: Stephanie A. Hinkle of Lancaster. She was also blessed with two very special friends: Michelle Heffner and Dolores Despard.

A celebration of Tracy’s life will be held Friday, Jan. 9 at Gravenor Home for Funerals, 100 W. Main St., Ephrata. Family and friends are welcome to visit with the family from 10 to 11 a.m. The memorial service will begin at 11. Interment will immediately follow the service at Conestoga Memorial Park, Lancaster.

Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to the Humane League of Lancaster, 2195 Lincoln Highway East, Lancaster, PA 17602.
