Virginia R. Bingner, 90, practical nurse, homemaker, mother of three

Virginia R. Bingner, 90, formerly of Denver, passed away Friday, June 3, 2016, at Ephrata Manor.

She was born in Lewisburg, Ky., to the late John Robert and Cillar Jane (Moore) Rice, and was the wife of the late Eugene G. Bingner, who died in 2003.

Virginia was a 1949 graduate of Orangeburg High School in Orangeburg, Ky. She was a homemaker and formerly worked as a practical nurse for 20 years.

Virginia is survived by a son: Sheridan R. Bingner of Lancaster; two daughters: Roxanne B. Swartz of Orwell, Ohio; and Dixie L. Kiehl of Denver; two grandchildren: Crystal Glassburner and Kyle Kiehl; and a great-grandchild: Sullivan Glassburner.

She was preceded in death by a granddaughter: Tanya Swartz; and she was the last of nine siblings.

Services and interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
