William ‘Bill’ E. Martin, 72, driver, in Gideons International, enjoyed camping, ping pong
William “Bill” E. Martin, 72, of Robesonia, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2016.
He was born in Ephrata to the late Arthur and M. Orvilla Stayer, and was the husband of Ruth E. Rice Martin, with whom he shared 51 years of marriage.
Bill was a truck driver for various companies including Air Products; Cabinet Transport; and Eberly Poultry Inc. He was a member of Gideons International. Bill enjoyed traveling, camping, fishing, ping pong, and spending time with his family.
In addition to his wife, Bill is survived by a son: Christopher Martin and partner Dana Friend; two daughters: Michelle Martin; and Koreina, wife of J. Edward Zuck; 10 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; a brother: Ronald Martin; and a sister, Ardyth Butcher.
Services were held Dec. 19 at Roseboro Stradling Funeral Home, Denver, followed by interment in the Memory Gardens Memorial Cemetery, Ephrata.
