William Mark Koch, 39, woodworker and candle maker, enjoyed football, NASCAR, fishing

William Mark Koch, 39, of Akron, passed away from complication due to MS, Tuesday, April 1, 2014, at his residence.

Born in Lancaster, he was the son of William P. Koch of Lebanon and Diane B. (Rollman), wife of Jim Brubaker of Ephrata.

Mark was a woodworker, was very handy with electrical work, loved football, NASCAR, fishing and candle making.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his maternal grandparents: Robert and Alverta Rollman of Akron; paternal grandparents: William L. and Mary Koch of Lebanon; a sister: Michelle, wife of Joseph Musumeci of Akron; two brothers: Steven Koch of Leola, Scott Koch of Ephrata; two nieces: Crystal Connelly of Lititz, Adrienne Connelly of Akron.

Services were held April 5 at Stradling Funeral Home, Akron, with Pastor Jay Quirk officiating. Interment followed in the Center Church Cemetery.

Family and friends are participating in the Walk For MS on April 27. Donations are being accepted at mswalkformarkkoch.com.
