William W. Stauffer, 87, Big Dutchman retiree, Stauffer Mennonite Church member

William W. Stauffer, 87, of Ephrata, passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2017, at Wellspan Ephrata Community Hospital.

He was born in West Earl Township to the late Jacob S. and Magdalena (Wenger) Stauffer. He was the husband of Mary (Stauffer) Stauffer, the late Elva (Martin) Stauffer, and the late Minnie (Sensenig) Stauffer.

He was a member of Stauffer Mennonite Church. William retired from Big Dutchman, formally Favorite Manufacturing.

In addition to his wife, William is survived by four children: Robert (Grace) Stauffer of New Holland, Marlene (Titus) Brubacker of Ephrata, Clyde (Pricilla) Stauffer of Port Trevorton, Delores (Ray) Brubacker of Ephrata; 26 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; a sister: Magdalena (Donald) Wenrich of Mohnton; two sisters-in-law: Arlene Stauffer of Bainbridge, Ohio; and Mary Stauffer of Ephrata.

In addition to his parents and wives, he was preceded in death by two infant children: Charles and Minerva; a granddaughter: Darla Brubacker; four brothers: Paul, Ivan, Jacob, and Mahlon; and seven sisters: MaryAnn, Pricilla, Sarah, Susanna, Martha, Miriam, and Rachel.

Services were held July 26 at Stauffer Mennonite Church, Ephrata. Interment took place in the adjoining church Cemetery. Kindly omit flowers.
