Ernest H. Keith, 78, Army vet, worked at Berk Tech, enjoyed camping with his family
Ernest H. Keith, 78, Ephrata, died March 16, 2017, in York Hospital.
Born in Clearfield, a son of the late William and Cora (Price) Keith, he was married 32 years to Edith E. (Larson) Keith.
An Army staff sergeant, he last worked for Berk Tech, New Holland. Ernest cherished family times, especially camping, sitting around the fireside, riding his golf cart, vehicle shopping with his son, and trips to Middle Creek Project.
Also surviving are his children: Michael Keith, partnered with Tracey Webster; Daniel (Nancy) Keith; Kimberly (Kenneth) Kephart; David Smeal; and Kenneth (Teresa) Smeal; grandchildren: Heather, Matthew, Jessica, Nick, Shanelle, Jolene, Sandra, Alissa, Nathan, Joey, and Danny; 10 great-grandchildren; and siblings: Janet, Connie, Shirley, Clifford, Donald, Robert, Ronald, and David.
He was predeceased by two siblings.
Viewings will be at Good Funeral Home, 34 N. Reamstown Road, Reamstown, on Thursday, March 23, from 6 to 8 p.m., and Friday, March 24, from noon to 2 p.m. The funeral will be Friday at 2 p.m., with Pastor Steve Hess officiating.
