Here’s a comprehensive list of all Easter egg hunts and church events coming up in April:
Egg Hunt – Easter Egg Celebration: A Lenten Experience for Children, which includes a program, singing, and an egg hunt for kids ages 2 through fifth grade, is set for April 8, at 9 a.m. at Hope UMC, 3474 Rothsville Road, Ephrata. Call 738-3774.
‘Egg’stravaganza – Grace Church, 62 Hahnstown Road, Ephrata, will hold an “Egg”stravaganza for kids ages 3 through sixth grade, on April 8, at 10 a.m. Includes egg hunt, story time and egg decorating. Register: 738-1109.
Egg Hunt – Peace UCC, 37 E. Swartzville Road, Denver, will host an Easter egg hunt April 8 at 10 a.m. Call 484-4400.
Egg Hunt/Bouncies – Dove Westgate Church, 1755 W. Main St., Ephrata, will host an egg hunt (and more) on April 8, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., for kids in sixth grade and younger. BYOB (bring your own basket). Call 721-3775.
Muddy Creek – Muddy Creek Lutheran Church will have an egg hunt at the grove, 11 S. Muddy Creek Rd, Denver at 11:15 a.m., Sunday, April 9. Children up to grade 5 are invited to collect candy and eggs and meet the Easter bunny. More information: http://www.mclchurch.org
Community Egg Hunt – The Lincoln community egg hunt for kids up to age 10 will be held April 15, at 11 a.m., at Zion’s UCC, 1356 Apple St., Ephrata. Meet the Easter Bunny and play on a fire truck. Call 733-4571
Swamp Lutheran – The Swamp Evangelical Church, 275 Swamp Church, Road, Reinholds, is inviting all local children in nursery school through fourth grade to attend the annual Easter egg Hunt on April 15, starting at 10 a.m. Call 336-2849.
Family Easter Party – First UMC, 68 N. Church St., Ephrata, will have a Family Fun Easter Party from 1 to 2:30 p.m. in fellowship hall, on April 15. There will be snacks, games, crafts, and an egg hunt. Call 738-2465.
Ephrata Lions – The Ephrata Lions Club will hold its annual Easter egg hunt on Saturday, April 15, at Thomas Grater Park, Cocalico Street, Ephrata, at 10 a.m. The hunt is designed for Children ages one through 11. Prizes will be given in each age group. The event will be held rain or shine. To learn more, call 201-9550.
East Cocalico Lions – The East Cocalico Lions Club will hold its annual Easter egg hunt on Saturday, April 15, at the Reamstown Memorial Park, at 1 pm. The hunt is designed for Children through age 12 and will include an area for special children. Prizes will be given to all who participate. Adult door prizes will be drawn and food will be available after the egg hunt. The event will be held rain or shine. To learn more, call 336-1397.
West Earl Lions – West Earl Lions host an egg hunt at 1 p.m., Saturday, April 15 at West Earl Community Park, 189 S State St, Leola. Rain or shine. More information: http://www.westearllions.org
Terre Hill Easter Egg Hunt – This egg hunt is 1 p.m., Saturday, April 15 at the Community Park. Children up to age 10 are separated into four groups and sent to different areas in the park. Visit with and learn about rabbits from 12:30-1:30 p.m. with the 4H Rags to Rabbit and Cavy club. Donations of cooked and colored eggs as well as filled plastic eggs (with wrapped candy) on Friday before the hunt. Donations may be left at the main pavilion at the park on Friday or dropped off at the Terre Hill Borough Office during normal business hours. Adamstown Easter Egg Hunt – Adamstown Lions Club hosts an egg hunt at 1 p.m., Saturday, April 15 at Adamstown Grove. More information: https://www.facebook.com/AdamstownLionsClub
The annual Easter egg hunts hosted by the Baron Stiegel Lions Club of Clay and Elizabeth Townships are set for April 15, at 1 p.m., at the Mt. Airy Picnic Grove, 500 W.
