Gordon L. Ludwig, 69, lifelong Ephrata resident, worked for Sperry New Holland

Gordon L. Ludwig, 69, of Ephrata, passed away Saturday, May 9, 2015, at Hospice and Community Care in Lancaster.

He was the husband of Janet E. (Showers) Ludwig and son of Mary Ann (Adair) Ludwig and the late Chester H. Ludwig.

Gordon was born in Ephrata and was a lifelong resident of the area. He worked for Sperry New Holland manufacturing farm equipment for 26 years.

In addition to his wife and mother, Gordon is survived by three step-children: Sherry Lemon and Carrol Lemon of Lancaster; and John Yeakley of Reading; two sisters: Cindy, wife of Randy Gilbert, of Lititz; and Linda, wife of Edward Wolf, of Robesonia; and one brother: Larry Ludwig, husband of Doris, of Ephrata.

In addition to his father, Gordon was preceded in death by his son: Troy Ludwig; and step-son: Randy Yeakley.

Funeral services will be announced at a later date.
